Abstract

150 firefighters were followed through their first three years in fire service. Perceived familial social support and firefighter social support at annual one predicts lower PTSD symptoms at annual three. Perceived familial social support and firefighter social support have a relationship with PTSD symptomology at annual three at comparable levels.
