Abstract

This study investigated the 24 character strengths that were most highly correlated with job satisfaction across six age groups (18–61+ years, total N = 12,475). The top-five character strengths relevant for job satisfaction differed for the individual age groups, for example, spirituality for 18–20-year-olds and bravery for >61-year-olds.
