Abstract

Data from 704 Korean employees showed that role ambiguity at work had a conditional effect on depressive feelings depending on gender and marital status. Single men displayed the strongest effect, whereas single women displayed the weakest effect, although all four groups showed significant relationships between role ambiguity and depression.
