Abstract

We explored the mediating role of coping styles in the relation between PTSD symptom severity with both Alcohol Use Disorder severity and aggression expression among military personnel. Results indicate a potential mechanism for negative outcomes for those with greater PTSD symptoms, suggesting targeting maladaptive coping in treatment.
