The Impact of Household Income on STEM-Related Executive Functioning Skills in Middle Childhood

Abstract
The current research finds that for children aged from 6 to 9 years of age, greater household income is associated with increased executive function (EF) skills that predict greater success in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), specifically visual/spatial thinking, planning, and organization.
