Abstract

Adults in the 6-week, but not 1-day retention group who were interviewed by an avatar recalled the details of the target video with higher accuracy and interacted more with the interviewer than did the participants in the human-interviewer condition. Individual differences in participants’ interaction with the avatar were found.
