Materialism Acts Both As a Catalyst and a Hindrance Towards Organizational Citizenship Behaviors

The study investigates the relationships between materialism and organizational citizenship behaviors, in a sample of Turkish white-collar employees. Regression analyses reveal mixed results, with unexpected positive effects from materialism-success on two of the OCB dimensions. Findings suggest that materialism may convey a more complex meaning in professional work settings.
