- Rachel Farley

Abstract
This study found that individuals with chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions reporting family problems and socially avoidant behaviors were more likely to misuse opioids. Participants were from a clinical chronic pain sample undergoing treatment. Family problems and socially avoidant behaviors were significant predictors of a higher likelihood of opioid misuse.
