The Influence of Reflection on Moral Decision Making and Academic Performance

Abstract
We explored the role of cognitive reflection in moral decision making and academic performance. This study suggests that individuals with better cognitive reflection made altruistic decision through cognitive emotional regulation. Moreover, participants with higher altruistic decision score had better academic performance, which had positive correlation with cognitive reflection.
