Abstract

Episodic memory was measured in self-reported restrictive and non-restrictive eaters (pre-existing). Prior to the encoding phase of the memory task, participants completed either a diet-related or non-diet related priming task. Results suggest memory differences in both pre-existing and induced restrictive eating mindsets, relative to non-restrictive mindsets.
