Abstract

Chronic perceptions of gender bias were assessed in a sample of women pSTEM majors (N=286). Higher scores predicted women reporting weeks later that they experienced more daily instances of gender prejudice in pSTEM in 14 nightly assessments. They also rated prejudiced events as more stressful and more prejudiced.
