Abstract

Emotional intelligence in four adults with childhood hemispherectomy (3 Right, 1 Left) were assessed using the Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test. Right hemispherectomy patients had marked disparities between complex and strategic emotional reasoning and experiencing emotion, but this effect was negligible in the patient with left hemispherectomy.
