Abstract

In a series of seven correlational and experimental studies, dispositional self-awareness was shown to be positively correlated with problem solving, which was associated with a better choice of goal means and higher goal performance (i. e., exam grades). The role of dispositional self-awareness for self-regulation is discussed.
