Abstract
Mothers of 440 of 6.5 years-old twin pairs showed flexibility in control associated behaviors between play and clean-up situations. Additionally, mothers’ negative behaviors were influenced by the twin the mother was interacting with. These results provide evidence that parenthood is flexible and adaptive and not trait-like, as often addressed.
