Linking Academic Boredom to Leisure Boredom: The Role of Academic Burnout

Abstract

Using a sample of 106 undergraduates, results demonstrated that academic boredom was positively related leisure boredom and its relationship was fully mediated by academic burnout. Our finding suggests that the boredom in the academic domain spreads to that in a leisure domain via academic boredom.
