Abstract
Based on the engine of well-being model, we examined the mediating effects of two cognitive well-being factors (i.e., life satisfaction and hope) in the longitudinal relation between family support and goal-directed behaviors (i.e., engagement in meaningful instrumental activity) in adolescents. Results supported the mediating role of hope in this model.
