Fighting the Freshman Fifteen: The Impact of Sleep and Exercise on BMI Among College Students

Abstract

Both sleep and exercise are associated with BMI in college populations. Results from the current study suggest that the association between better sleep and lower BMI is strongest among college students who exercise less. These findings can be used to improve health outcomes for college students.
