Perceived Parental Control on Reckless Alcohol Use in College Students

Abstract

We examined links between excessive alcohol use and perceived parental control. Drawing from a private, religiously-affiliated institution, we gave two questionnaires to participants (N=50) tapping each construct respectively. We found that more alcohol use is related to higher perceived parental control.
