Abstract

Because severe weather varies considerably across regions of the U.S., we examined whether psychological responses to severe weather also differ across areas. Specifically, we studied severe weather PTSD and phobia symptoms across climate regions. Contrary to expectations, weather-related PTSD and phobia symptoms did not significantly differ across U.S. climate regions.
