Abstract

College women (n = 250) completed self-report measures assessing sexual attitudes and romantic relationship satisfaction. Structural equation modeling revealed that more liberal sexual attitudes (i.e. greater acceptance of casual sex and more positive expectancies of sexual behavior associated with alcohol consumption) was significantly associated with decreased relationship satisfaction.
