The Influence of Memory and Guessing Bias on Increased Stereotyping of Lesbian and Gay Individuals

Abstract
In two studies, we updated and validated stereotypes that people today have for lesbian and gay individuals. We also used narratives to examine the extent to which people rely on lesbian and gay stereotypes during memory tasks, and whether this is due to improved recall or a guessing bias.
