Abstract

We compared neuropsychological symptoms in male and female college students with self-diagnosed or clinically diagnosed ADHD. Men and women with self-diagnosed ADHD reported higher levels of cognitive inefficiency, inattention, memory problems, frustration intolerance, and impaired academic skills than others. Females report more cognitive efficiency, and men report greater frustration tolerance.
