Abstract

Results of this study indicated a main effect of Mortality Salience (MS; awareness of inevitability of death) on Conservatism was found, such that participants who wrote about death scored significantly higher on the Social Economic Conservatism Scale (SECS) compared to participants who wrote about watching television.
