Abstract

Estimates are computed for diabetes (Type1 and Type2) and End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) using the CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Reports and other sources for Puerto Rico; therefore, available data can help guide aggressive search and rescue in times of crises, such as Hurricane Maria and its aftermath.
