Abstract

The School-Based Mental Health Collaboration deploys graduate students as Classroom Consultants in high-poverty New York City schools. It takes a psychoanalytic approach to promoting mentalization skills among all school stakeholders (children, parents, teachers, and principals). An evaluation measured effects on teachers and students.
