Guys with Six Packs and Girls in Bikinis: The Impact of Marital Status on Perceptions of Cyber Abuse Perpetrators

Participants (N = 533) rated severity of a cyber abuse situation that varied the gender of the perpetrator, the sexual orientation of the couple, and the picture liking source that initiated the conflict. A significant four way interaction demonstrated that participants in Cohabiting relationships perceived abuse differently than their peers.
