Abstract
Psychology journals with titles including women, gender, sex, or feminism (WGSF) received less public and more news attention than other-specialized journals (OS). Although voters perceived WGSF and OS similarly, WGSF versus OS were perceived less meritorious by undergraduate men but equally or more meritorious by undergraduate women. Implications are discussed.
