The Effect of Emotion Regulation on Aesthetic Ability: A Moderation Study in Chinese Children

Abstract

This study was the first to examine the association between emotion regulation and aesthetic ability in Chinese children. There was a significant relationship between emotion regulation and aesthetic ability, and this relationship is stronger when children have less academic burden, which informs how to foster children’s aesthetic ability and creativity.
