Abstract

We used the targeted memory reactivation (TMR) technique during slow wave sleep to facilitate episodic memory consolidation of educational material. Results showed that TMR improved next-day performance on trained material and application of learned knowledge. However, the benefits of a single TMR session are short-lived.
