Father and Adolescents’ Reports of Fathers’ Parenting Related to Adolescents’ Depression, Aggression, and Delinquency in Latino Families

Abstract
Path analyses using data from 389 Latino adolescents and their fathers indicated (1) fathers’ reports of their support, monitoring, and psychological control were positively correlated with adolescents’ reports of the corresponding father behavior, and (2) adolescents’ reports of paternal behaviors were related to depression, relational aggression, physical aggression, and delinquency.
