Abstract

Psychology undergraduates (n=210) reported their work performance and, if in a relationship, their relationship satisfaction and attachment security. Attachment accounted for 30% of relationship satisfaction variance. Attachment also predicted work performance, analyzed both continuously and categorically, but the effects were small (d=.23). Relationship satisfaction only weakly predicted work performance (d=.16).
