Abstract

Mothers may encounter several forms of stress during deployment, including family disruption, combat exposure, and sexual assault and harassment. Emerging evidence suggests these stressors may each impact mental health in women veterans. This study examined associations between three forms of stress and two mental health outcomes, PTSD and depression.
