Abstract
This study used high-density EEG to record induced oscillatory brain activities in 31 infants before, during, and after occlusion of a moving object. Both synchronized and desynchronized brain activities in the gamma frequency band were found, suggesting that the human infant brain can discriminate between visible and occluded moving objects.
