Abstract

Attention Bias Variability (ABV; fluctuating attention toward & away from threat) is newly linked to PTSD. Assessing women with interpersonal violence related PTSD, we observed positive correlations for ABV with PTSD & emotional dysregulation, but not other psychological difficulties. Importantly, emotional dysregulation fully mediates the relationship between PTSD and ABV.
