Abstract

This study investigates the origins of semantic processing in infants employing ERPs. Using a longitudinal design, we tested the effects of semantic processing tasks in different ages and developmental stages, using the amplitude and latency of the N400 component, along with the spatial distribution of brain activity, as dependent measures.
