Abstract

In a sample of 109 individuals under age 18, neurocognitive (CPT-3) and neurobehavioral (BESS and NIH 4-meter gait) measures explain over 22% of the variance in CDC-specified concussion symptoms after controlling for age. This finding compare favorably to the predictive validity of more established sport concussion measures (ImPACT, SCAT-3).
