Abstract

The current study examined the mediating role of emotion regulation between therapeutic alliance and clinical outcomes in emerging adult inpatients. It was found that emotion regulation difficulties are a significant mediator of the relationship between therapeutic alliance and improved clinical outcomes for adult psychiatric inpatients.
