Abstract

Using the diffusion model, this study revealed current mood influences attentional biases for emotional stimuli. Negative mood was associated with decreased processing speed overall, and positive mood and emotion regulation ability with decreased difference between negative and positive processing speed. Positive mood was associated with increased expectation of positive stimuli.
