Abstract

This study utilized within-person longitudinal data from daily diary surveys to investigate the relationship between depressive symptomatology, daily stress, and unhealthy eating in 69 adolescents. Hierarchical linear models showed that higher levels of depressive symptomatology and stress predicted more unhealthy eating, and depressive symptoms significantly moderated the effects of stress.
