Abstract

We examined whether tendencies to experience awe are associated with increased meaning in life. In two studies, dispositional awe was positively associated with meaning in life, accounting for positive emotions and demographics. Results suggest that individuals prone to experiencing awe are likely to find greater meaning and purpose in life.
