Abstract

The relationship between activity engagement and psychological well-being was moderated by older adults’ savoring abilities. Specifically, activity engagement was positively related to well-being; however, the relationship was stronger for participants with lower savoring abilities. A combination of low activity engagement and low savoring ability was associated with lower well-being.
