Abstract
In a 3 x 2 design, participants cooperated, competed, or had no interaction with a confederate in either a music or no music condition. Participants reported their rapport and connection with the confederate. Music increased bonding across conditions with higher levels during cooperation interactions and lower bonding with no interaction.
