Abstract

The study investigated the effect of specificity (specific vs. generic) and protagonist (personal vs. vicarious) of memories and cultural impact on closeness development. A main effect was discovered for the protagonist of memory and culture but not for specificity of memory. An interaction between specificity and protagonist was also found.
