Abstract

This study examined cross-lagged and bidirectional relationships between school burnout stigma and indicators of mental health (depression, anxiety, and stress). Results demonstrated that perceived school burnout stigma predicted symptoms of negative affect six weeks later. Findings provide sufficient support to merit further study of a potential causal relationship.
