Abstract

Is the current education system adequately preparing next generations for a future of tremendous uncertainty? In 3 experiments, we found that, a scenario depicting a class focusing on understanding and student-teacher collaboration created a greater preference for uncertainty than a scenario depicting a class focusing on memorization and didactic teaching.
