Abstract

Many older adults refuse cognitive screenings/assessment in clinical settings. Remote cognitive assessments emerged as possible alternatives. We examined the
psychometric soundness of these approaches and concluded that remote and mobile assessments, may not always produce reliable but not always valid results
and that threats to validity should be further investigated.
