Abstract
The dynamics between Service Members (SM) and their families impacted chronic depressive symptoms almost 25 years later. This relationship was mediated by individual differences in dispositional mindfulness, specifically ‘Acting with Awareness’, ‘Describe’, and ‘Non-Judging’, leading to better post-deployment health outcomes over two decades later. Implications for mindfulness interventions are discussed.
