Personality Determinants of Power to Live with Disasters: Gratitude, Grit, and Grace

The contributions of three positive personality traits on eight factors of the power to live with disasters were examined using the responses of 328 university students. The gratitude trait accounted for self-transcendence, etiquette, and altruism factors, whereas grit and self-control traits were differently reflected in the stubbornness factor.
