Proficient Readers Include Fewer Incorrect Intrusions in Their Free Recall of Narrative Texts Than Challenged Readers.

Abstract
Proficient readers construct a better representation of a narrative text (a situation model) than challenged readers. Proficient readers are better able to disregard aberrant information in the narrative and include fewer incorrect intrusions in their free recalls. They also recall more of the narrative.
