Abstract

The current study investigated the relationship between students’ self-regulation and how it may predict perseverance to succeed in college, despite traumatic life events. High self-regulators had marginally significant higher GPAs, but there was no support for the hypothesis that self-regulation moderates the relationship between traumatic life events and GPA.
